Hornady's 174 gr FMJ BT in 303 calibre is built for target and match shooting. It measures .3105" in diameter and carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of .470, which is what makes it worth loading at distance.

Hornady traditional and FMJ rifle bullets are built with the same AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket used across the range, with virtually zero concentricity tolerance and near-zero wall-thickness variation. That matters most in an FMJ, where a thinly plated jacket from other makers can distort or separate on impact, and it gives the soft-point and hollow-point versions dependable accuracy from rifles that were designed around conventional bullets.
