The Hornady A-Tip seating stem for 338 calibre 300 gr is a bullet-specific seating stem for Hornady Custom Grade seating dies, made for handloaders seating the 338 300 gr A-Tip Match bullet. Hornady recommends this stem for correct seating of A-Tip bullets.

The stem is machined to the profile of the A-Tip ogive so it bears on the bullet correctly rather than on the aluminium tip, which keeps the tip undamaged and the seating depth consistent. It fits Hornady Custom Grade dies only and is not compatible with other manufacturers' dies.
