The Hornady Lock-N-Load Impact Bullet Puller is a hammer-style puller for taking apart loaded rounds without damaging the bullet, so both the projectile and the powder can be reused. It suits any reloader who needs to pull the odd batch of mistakes or salvage components.

It works on most rifle and pistol cartridges up to .45 calibre. The round is locked in the head with a collet, a few sharp taps on a solid surface pull the bullet, and the bullet and powder are caught in the body of the tool. The handle design stores two spare collets so the right size is always with the tool.
