A genuine Howa/Hogue overmoulded stock for the short action varmint or heavy-barrel Howa 1500, in black. It gives a hunting rifle a soft, non-slip grip surface and a stock that shrugs off rain and knocks.
Howa describes the Hogue stock as pillar bedded with a rubber overmould and a recoil pad. The barrel channel is cut for Howa's heavy or varmint barrel contour, so check your barrel profile before ordering. Barrelled action, bottom metal and magazine are not included. On the factory Hogue rifle Howa pairs this stock with its cold-hammer-forged barrel, forged bolt and HACT two-stage trigger, and the same stock drops onto any standard Howa 1500 barrelled action with the matching action length and barrel contour.
