The RCBS UPM-3 Competition Powder Measure is the Uniflow measure fitted with a powder baffle and a micrometer adjustment screw, for the reloader who wants repeatable, recordable charge settings across rifle and pistol loads. It throws 0.5 to 100 grains from a single metering assembly.
The micrometer lets you dial a charge to 0.10 grain and write the setting down for next time; the baffle evens out the pressure of the powder column on the metering drum so throws stay consistent as the hopper empties. The handle can be fitted on the left or right, the hopper unscrews for emptying, and a quick-change drain and two drop tubes are included. The body is cast iron. RCBS advises checking charges on a scale during a run and never using black powder in this measure.
