The SOG Altair XR in Field Green with Canyon Red is a superlight compact folding knife built around CRYO 154CM steel and SOG's XR locking mechanism, aimed at hunters and outdoor users who want a strong lock in a knife they will barely feel in the pocket.

Skeletonised liners and a concealed-fastener handle keep weight down, and the lanyard loop and pocket clip are swappable so it carries the way you prefer. The XR lock allows ambidextrous one-handed opening and gives a solid lock-up once open.

SOG takes its name from the MACV-SOG special operations group and has been making knives and tools since 1986 from its base in Lynnwood, Washington. We carry the range for hunters, pest controllers and outdoor users who want a working blade or tool rather than a display piece.
