David Tubb's NOSERING Tool (body only) is designed to cut a controlled nosering on bullets so shooters can influence terminal expansion and stabilize ballistic performance. The body-only tool accepts separate collars (sold separately) and provides fine adjustment of the cutting depth to change a bullet's expansive characteristics relative to your rifle's muzzle velocity and the target's girth.

  • Adjustable cutting depth: incremental control in 0.001" steps for precise changes to nosering depth.
  • Influences terminal performance: allows users to set how a nonexpanding target bullet will behave on impact by controlling the nosering cut.
  • Improves ballistic uniformity: cutting a nosering can increase uniformity of a bullet's drag coefficient, supporting more consistent ballistic behavior.
