The TUBB Generation 2 Magneto Speed Mount lets you use the Magneto Speed bayonet off-barrel to measure velocity and test loads without altering your barrel's natural harmonics. It’s built to position the bayonet independently of the barrel so you can compare velocities and adjust bayonet distance without inducing other variables into the barrel.
- Includes two stainless steel mounting rods, two adjustable/positional Picatinny rail mounting blocks, and a Picatinny mounting shelf for the read-out screen.
- Supplied twin-rod clamping block provides precise adjustability for setting the bayonet’s relative distance to the bore.
- Designed for quick, repeatable removal and reattachment once positioned for a rifle.
- Guidance included on starting bayonet offset and adjusting Magneto Speed sensitivity to account for bullet composition and diameter effects on offset.
Use the mount to standardize bayonet placement while load testing and to reduce zero shift caused by mounting the bayonet directly on the barrel. The mount’s components keep the bayonet alignment repeatable so you can focus on consistent velocity measurement during testing.
