Swarovski TX Encounter

The TX Encounter is Swarovski Optik's multifunction thermal: a hand-held device for detecting, watching and judging game after dark, and a clip-on that pairs with a Swarovski rifle scope through the tMA quick adapter with no need to sight in. Switching from hand-held to clip-on is quick and can be done by feel in full darkness.

Its 640x480, 12 µm sensor and 35 mm f/1.0 lens feed a 2560x2048 AMOLED display with 2x, 4x, 6x and 8x digital zoom. Photo and video recording, recoil-activated video, slow motion and live streaming to the app let you document and share a hunt, and the app can mark points of interest that appear in the eyepiece, backed by an integrated compass. SWAROLIGHT's tilt-sensing on/off timer and automatic brightness keep it ready and stretch the 3.5-hour battery, which can be swapped quietly in the dark.

Thermal imaging devices are not licensed items in NSW, but check the rules for your state and hunting ground before mounting one on a rifle. The tMA quick adapter and tMA scope adapters are listed separately.
