New RIX LEAP L6R Thermal scope is built like a tank! Great intro deal!

We took the new RIX LEAP L6R scope for a run over the weekend. It's a solid unit with a very good quality feel to it. It comes with a good quick release mount and it was easy to move between rifles.

Setup is straighforward and the menu system is simple to use and intuitive. We found the laser ranging and ballistics to be accurate. We used it on both 308 Win and 223 Rem rifles.

Image clarity is very good, and we easily detected targets at 800m and clear target identification was manageable out to 400m.

Battery life was impressive, with a usefull standby mode. We carried a spare battery but with a full charge it didnt need it after a full night of shooting.
