The Berger 22 calibre 75 grain VLD Target is a secant-ogive boat tail match bullet for competitors shooting fast-twist 223 Rem and 22-250 rifles at long range.

The VLD (Very Low Drag) profile experiences less drag in flight than a tangent-ogive bullet, so it shoots flatter, drifts less in wind and retains more velocity. VLDs are often loaded touching the rifling for single-feed use, though some rifles prefer up to 0.150 in of jump. Berger builds it on the J4 Target jacket, known for its concentricity and consistent wall thickness.
