Berger 308 Winchester 185 grain Classic Hunter is factory hunting ammunition built around Berger's magazine-friendly Classic Hybrid Hunter bullet, for deer hunters who want a heavy, high-BC 308 load that feeds through a standard bolt rifle.

The Classic Hunter uses a hybrid ogive kept short enough to run through factory magazines while still carrying a high ballistic coefficient; the 185 grain gives a better BC and more retained energy than the 168 grain at a small cost in velocity, and suits a factory 1:12 twist or faster. Loaded in premium 308 Win brass with a temperature-stable propellant and match primer.
