Berger 6.5 PRC 156 grain Elite Hunter is factory hunting ammunition loaded with Berger's heaviest 6.5mm hunting bullet, for hunters taking deer and larger game such as sambar at longer range.

The Elite Hunter is a high-BC hybrid-ogive bullet built on Berger's J4 Hunting jacket, which is designed to penetrate 50 to 75 mm before opening rapidly to dump its energy inside the animal rather than passing through. Berger loads it in premium brass with a clean-burning, temperature-stable propellant, so the non-reloader gets the same performance handloaders chase from the 6.5 PRC.
