Rcbs Small Base Die Set

This two-die RCBS set is designed to reload bottleneck-type cases used in tight-chambering semi-automatic, pump, or lever-action rifles. It combines a Small Base Sizer with an Expander-Decapping Unit and a Regular Seater Die with seater plug to resize, de-prime, expand, and seat cartridges where standard dies may not reliably chamber.

• Small Base Sizer: resizes cases slightly below SAAMI minimums, reducing the shoulder and body by a few thousandths to help ensure reliable feeding and chambering in tight chambers.
• Expander-Decapping Unit: removes spent primers and expands the case mouth to allow easier bullet seating.
• Regular Seater Die with Roll Crimper: seats the bullet and applies a roll crimp to secure it; the crimp can be disabled by unscrewing the die until the crimp ring no longer engages the case mouth, allowing seating without crimping.
