A Hardy match-grade carbon-wrapped barrel in 308 Win, short action, right hand, 24 inch, for the hunter or long-range shooter rebarrelling a rifle who wants match accuracy at a fraction of a steel barrel's weight. The barrel is supplied as a barrel only; chambering, fitting and headspacing are extra and done by a gunsmith. Our listing includes a 5-round magazine.

Hardy wraps a steel liner in low-resin, pre-impregnated high-strength carbon cloth of the type used in racing yachts, laminated to the contour so each barrel profile has its own lay-up for stiffness. A bonding layer between steel and carbon is designed to make the laminate react to harmonics as one unit. Hardy makes barrels to order with a lead time; ask our staff about profile options.
