The Barnes 32471 is a 65 grain 22 calibre LRX boat tail, an all-copper long-range hunting bullet for reloaders chasing deer and larger game at extended distances.

The LRX has a polymer tip and a deep nose cavity that peel back into four sharp petals on impact, producing a wide wound channel even in heavy-boned game, while the copper shank stays together for deep penetration and near-total weight retention. Copper bullets are longer than lead-core bullets of the same weight, so check that your twist rate is fast enough. At 65 grains it is a sleek 22 calibre hunting bullet for fast-twist 223 Rem, 22 ARC and 22-250 rifles on goats, pigs and deer-sized game where legal.
