The Barnes 32469 is a 70 grain 22 calibre TAC-TX boat tail, a lead-free copper hunting bullet designed and optimised around the 22 ARC for reloaders using AR-platform and fast-twist bolt rifles on medium game.

The TAC-TX is an expanding all-copper bullet tuned for the lower velocities of short carbine barrels, with a larger tip and modified nose cavity so it opens reliably at reduced speed, and it tracks straighter through barriers than a lead-core bullet. The cannelure is positioned for a crimp in the 22 ARC. Its 70 grain copper length needs a 1:7 or faster twist; Barnes notes it also suits the 22 Creedmoor in a fast-twist barrel, but the .702 in nose is too long to magazine-feed in a 223 Rem.
