Leupold's steel Standard (STD) one-piece base for the Savage 99 provides a direct, purpose-built mount for that action. Designed for standard calibers under .300 Win. Mag., this base mates with STD rings and aligns with either STD 1-piece or 2-piece rings for a matched mounting system. The front dovetail ring pivots to allow lateral adjustment via the rear windage screws during bore sighting, and shims can be added to preserve scope elevation travel for BDC dials.
