Adding weight at the very back of your rifle is an effective way to tame recoil and move the balance point rearward. This case-hardened steel weight slides into the lower pocket of compatible MDT buttstocks and adds 0.65 lb to the rifle system, making it a natural partner to MDT's M-LOK exterior forend weights for shooters fine-tuning their rig for competition.

Installation is simple: remove the buttpad assembly, slide the weight into the lower pocket, secure it with the supplied screws and refit the buttpad.
