Redding Precision Expanding Mandrels (.25 Cal)

Redding Precision Expanding Mandrels for .25 Cal provide fine control over case-neck I.D. and neck tension for handloaded cartridges. Each mandrel is machined from tool steel, hardened and precision-ground to its final diameter, with the size marked on the head for easy identification. Mandrels are produced in very small diameter increments to let handloaders tailor neck tension to their preference.

• Hard, precision-ground tool steel mandrels with marked sizes.
• Available in .0005" diameter increments ranging from .0005" through .0030" below nominal bullet diameter.
• Precision Expanding Die components are CNC-machined and heat-treated for dimensional integrity and durability; angled alignment surfaces in the die body and mandrel ensure correct alignment when assembled and secured with the threaded retention plug and lock ring.
• Dies are factory-assembled with one mandrel sized .0010" below nominal bullet diameter per caliber (22–338); other mandrel sizes sold separately.
