Redding Precision Expanding Mandrels provide a precise way to set case-neck I.D. for controlled neck tension. Machined from high-quality tool steel, each mandrel is hardened and precision-ground to its final diameter and marked on the head for clear identification.

• Precision sizing: manufactured in .0005” diameter increments to allow fine adjustments to neck tension.
• Durable finish: tool steel construction that is hardened and ground to final size for dimensional stability.
• Clear identification: the mandrel size is stamped on the mandrel head for quick selection.
• Factory pairing note: Precision Expanding Dies are factory-assembled with one mandrel sized .0010” below nominal bullet diameter for calibers listed (22–338); additional mandrel sizes are available separately.
