The Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 combines a 5x zoom range with a 44mm objective and side parallax adjustment, making it suited to hunters who regularly stretch out to longer ranges on foxes, goats and deer in open country, while still holding enough field of view at the bottom end for closer work.

The scope carries a second focal plane reticle on a 1-inch tube and is offered with several reticle options, including ballistic turret (BT) variants that let the elevation turret be set up for a specific load and zero. As an optical sight rather than a firearm, it does not require a firearms licence to purchase in Australia.
