The Pulsar Merger XP50 LRF is a pair of thermal binoculars built to deliver detailed thermal imaging and extended runtime for long observation sessions. Its 640×480 microbolometer (17 µm) with NETD <25 mK and F50/1.0 germanium objective lens combine to produce a clear thermal image that is shown to the user across two HD AMOLED displays processed by an updateable image processor.
- Magnification: 2.5–20× (8× zoom) with picture-in-picture available for simultaneous wide and zoomed views.
- Imaging options: eight color palettes and the ability to record photos and videos for later review.
- Connectivity: Streamvision app support (iOS and Android) and dual-band wireless (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) for streaming to phones or tablets.
- Durable design and runtime: reinforced magnesium alloy body, IPX7 water resistance, operating range −25 °C to 50 °C, and two rechargeable batteries (one built-in, one removable) offering up to 10 hours of operation; the removable battery is designed to be changed by touch in darkness.
- Optical specs: field of view 12.4×9.3° / 21.8×16.3° and a stated detection range of 1800 m.
