This seat books entry to the NSW Police Firearms Registry–approved Firearms & Hunting Safety (Long-arms) Course for first-time firearms licence applicants, delivered by a Registry-approved instructor at Magnum Sports, 19 Babbage Road, Roseville Chase. Sessions run by appointment Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and Saturday 9am–2pm; select your preferred start and we confirm the date and time by phone or email within one business day. Allow up to five hours if you are new to firearms, less if you have previous handling experience.
- Course booklet and online pre-test provided to prepare you for the theory session.
- Theory session followed by a closed-book test; a certificate of Firearms Safety Awareness is issued on a pass.
- One-on-one practical handling assessment with firearms and ammunition supplied during the practical.
- Bring government photo ID and a completed P650 declaration on the day; minors 12–17 must attend with a parent or guardian.
Book one seat per person. If you answered Yes to any Section B question on the P650 you must obtain a Firearms Registry permit before attending.
