Built for low light, the Zeiss Conquest HDX 8x56 pairs a 56 mm objective with 8x magnification for a 7 mm exit pupil, the largest in the range. It is the glass for hunters who sit up for pigs, deer or foxes at last light and need every bit of brightness available.
Zeiss's HD concept matches selected coatings, lenses and a tuned optical design to give 90 per cent light transmission, faithful colour without fringing and sharpness from edge to edge. The magnesium housing is waterproof to 400 mbar and shockproof, and is fully covered in protective rubber armour for a secure grip. Adjustable eyecups and a lockable diopter let you set the binocular up once and forget it, and the smooth focus wheel makes fine adjustment easy. LotuTec coated lenses shed rain and dust, and the nitrogen-filled body will not fog internally.
