Combining 10x magnification with a 50 mm objective, the Zeiss SFL 10x50 suits hunters glassing long distances at dawn and dusk who want reach and brightness in one binocular. A 5 mm exit pupil and a 22.4 twilight factor keep the image usable well past the point where smaller glass fades.
The Victory SFL (SmartFocus Lightweight) design uses reduced lens diameters and thinner elements set closer together, so at 872 g the 10x50 weighs far less than a traditional binocular of this size while the magnesium housing keeps it rigid. Zeiss's UHD concept and T* multicoating give 90 per cent light transmission, natural colour and edge-to-edge detail. The SmartFocus wheel sits in the DoubleLink bridge, runs close focus to infinity in 1.4 turns and is easy to use with gloves on. LotuTec coating, nitrogen filling and 400 mbar water resistance are standard.
