The Bergara B-14 CIMA Carbon is a lightweight mountain hunting rifle with an autoclave-cured carbon fibre stock and a Bergara CURE carbon-wrapped barrel, for the hunter who walks a long way for a shot. We stock it in 223 Rem, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, 270 Win, 7 mm Rem Mag, 7 mm PRC, 308 Win, 300 Win Mag and 300 PRC.
The carbon stock is cured under pressure for the highest fibre-to-resin ratio, giving a stiff, light platform. Bergara's CURE barrel uses a carbon weave with embedded stainless strands to move heat away from the steel liner so point of impact stays consistent as the barrel warms. The B-14 action is the two-lug design with coned bolt nose and sliding-plate extractor. Note that Bergara's current CIMA Pro page describes the Premier-action version; our stock is the B-14 CIMA, so confirm the action, barrel length and weight with our staff.
