Howa's Carbon Elevate chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor is a carbon-on-carbon rifle: a carbon-wrapped 24" heavy barrel in a carbon-fibre stock. It suits hunters and long-range shooters after a rifle that is both tough and light without giving up Howa accuracy.
The 24" #7-contour barrel is cold hammer forged, carbon wrapped and threaded for a brake or suppressor, with a 1:8" twist. The stock carries Howa's patented AccuBlock lug bed and a Limbsaver recoil pad. Howa 1500 actions use a machined receiver and forged one-piece bolt with an integral handle and pressure-vent holes, an M16-style extractor and ejector, and tool-less firing pin removal. A two-stage HACT match trigger and three-position safety are standard, and Howa backs the rifle with its sub-MOA three-shot guarantee using premium factory ammunition.
