Hornady rates it at 3,325 ft/s from its test barrel with a G1 ballistic coefficient of .418. It suits hunters who want up to 200 ft/s more velocity from their rifle without extra pressure or recoil.
Superformance uses progressive Hornady propellants to lift muzzle velocity by 100 to 200 ft/s over conventional ammunition while keeping chamber pressure, recoil, muzzle blast and fouling in check, and it stays consistent across a wide temperature range. It is loaded with proven Hornady hunting bullets in quality cases and primers, and is safe in all firearm types including semi-automatics.
