Neck Expander Dies are used to flare the inside dimension of the case neck to ensure that the bullet is centered and straight during the seating process. This is an essential step in achieving accuracy and consistency in your reloading process. Using a Neck Expander Die during the reloading process involves inserting a brass casing into the die. As the die is raised, the expander ball or mandrel expands the inside diameter of the case neck to the desired size.
