Barnes VOR-TX LR 7mm PRC is factory long-range hunting ammunition loaded with the 160 grain all-copper LRX boat tail, for hunters shooting deer and larger game at extended distances.

The LRX is a lead-free copper bullet with a polymer tip and a long boat tail; on impact the nose opens into four sharp petals for a wide wound channel while the shank stays intact for deep penetration and near-full weight retention. Barnes rates this load at a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.608 and a G7 of 0.293. It is now loaded in standard brass cases rather than nickel-plated, which Barnes says improves case life for reloaders. Packed in 20 round boxes.
