The Bergara B-14R Trainer Steel is a full-size 22 LR precision trainer built on the same HMR stock and footprint as Bergara's centrefire rifles, for NRL22 and PRS rimfire competitors or anyone who wants to practise long-range fundamentals cheaply. It comes with a 10-round AICS-pattern single-stack magazine.
The 18 inch 4140 chrome-moly barrel is threaded for a moderator, the rimfire action uses a floating bolt head with a non-rotating gas shield, and the magazine is built to short-action AICS dimensions so it drops into the same stocks and chassis as a centrefire B-14. Weight is 8.1 lb, overall length 38 inches, twist 1:16.
