The SOG Kiku XR in natural linen micarta with satin blade is a large-format folding knife designed with Japanese knifemaker Kiku Matsuda, built around a modified tanto CTS XHP steel blade and SOG's XR lock. It suits hunters and outdoor users who want a big, strong folder that opens fast.
The blade opens three ways and the XR lock delivers a fixed-blade feel once open. Linen micarta handle slabs give a secure grip that improves with use. SOG calls this the original and most popular of the Kiku range.
