The SOG Ultra XR in carbon and gold is a slimline folding knife for anyone who wants a real blade in the pocket without noticing it: 6.5 mm thick and 34 g, with a 2.8-inch CRYO CPM S35VN stainless blade that opens one-handed from either side.

The handle is carbon fibre, the pocket clip is titanium and doubles as a money clip, and SOG's XR lock holds the blade open with a fixed-blade feel while still allowing ambidextrous single-handed opening. A good back-up knife for a hunter or shooter whose main blade lives on the belt.
