The Zeiss Conquest Apia 65 is a compact 20-50x spotting scope for hunters and target shooters who need to check animals or read targets at long range without carrying a full-size scope. At 1,350 g and 299 mm long it travels easily, and the 2.5x zoom range covers wide scanning through to fine detail.
Zeiss's HD optical concept uses ED glass, aspherical lenses and FieldFlattener technology for edge-to-edge sharpness with minimal colour fringing, and T* coating gives 87 per cent light transmission. The magnesium and aluminium alloy body is rubber armoured, nitrogen filled and waterproof to 200 mbar, with LotuTec coating on the lenses. Large focus and zoom wheels are easy to work, and the supplied throw lever lets you change magnification one-handed. An Arca-Swiss compatible tripod plate is included, and the scope accepts the Zeiss Digiscoping Adapter for phone photography.
