The Zeiss Victory HT 8x54 is a premium binocular for hunters who sit up over game at night or in deep twilight, with light transmission of more than 95 per cent, the brightest Zeiss has produced. Its 6.7 mm exit pupil and 130 m field of view make the most of the last usable light.
That transmission comes from a combination of SCHOTT HT (high transmission) glass, Zeiss T* multilayer coating and an Abbe-Koenig prism system. The ComfortFocus concept places a large focus wheel in the double-link bridge with a long throw, so precise focusing is easy even in gloves. The body is nitrogen filled, waterproof to 500 mbar and rated for -30 to +63 degrees C, and the LotuTec coating lets water and dirt roll off the lenses.
