Swarovski CL Companion Habicht 8x30

For its 75th anniversary Swarovski Optik dressed the compact CL Companion in the style of the Habicht, the first binocular it built in series: vegetable-tanned European leather, treated with olive-leaf extract, over the proven CL Companion optics. Each pair is numbered by hand and comes with its certificate, in a limited run of 1,000, with a loden and nappa leather bag and a matching strap.

The 8x30 is the easy-viewing version: a 132 m field of view at 1,000 m, 3.8 mm exit pupil and 16 mm eye relief make it comfortable for long glassing sessions and for spectacle wearers, and at 490 g it disappears in a jacket pocket. Optics are the current CL Companion's, with 90% light transmission, 3 m close focus and a body that is inert-gas filled and waterproof to 4 m.

Leather is a natural material and small variations in grain are part of the piece, not a fault. No licence is required to buy binoculars.
